* The Most Perfect Refreshment *

To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment.
Jane Austen

My dear husband led a photo nature walk yesterday at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center.  He had a nice size group of 12 people.  The Nature Center is so beautiful and peaceful.  Thankfully, the heat was not too bad early in the morning.  I had hoped to go along but my foot is still healing.  I am enjoying the beautiful pictures that he captured and I thought I’d share one with you.

*If you click on the photograph, you can see a larger version of the picture.  (I want to wander down that path!)

That looks fabulous – so peaceful. Were it not for my allergies, I would enjoy it very much. Hope your tootsie is better soon. Much love – Raquel XO

Hi, Gina~ What a beautiful path! That would be a wonderful place to walk.

You asked where I bought my sketchers sandals–I got mine on sale at JCPenneys, but I’m pretty sure Kohls has them also. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever had!

Oh my! How long did you say it would take me to get there? ;0)

What a beautiful and serene picture! Absolutely gorgeous! Hope your foot gets better so you can walk that trail with your sweetie soon.

    Hugs,

What a beautiful picture! I love to wander around in a canopy of trees!! We have several areas here, similar to your picture, that we are able to enjoy!

Have a great week Gina! :) Hope your foot heals quickly.

Ladies, I would love to have you all walk with me. Can you imagine having a little tea party along the way? I think the fairies would visit us there.
